You don’t need any formal qualifications to join Chicken Treat, but there are a bunch of ‘good-to-haves’. Business sense, enthusiasm for customer service, and the desire to work hands-on in your restaurant will all help you make your franchise more successful. Plus, to own a business in Australia, you need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Our Chicken Treat Franchise Partners are all hard-working, people-focused and business-minded. You don’t need previous retail or food experience, but if you have them, it’s a bonus. Some of our owners had their first job at Chicken Treat and turned their loyalty as a young employee into a career. We offer an extensive training program to teach you the business side, so as long as you have the drive and a passion for people and customer service, we’ll help you with the rest.
We offer extensive training and ongoing support to get you ready for franchise success. A eleven-week Franchise Partner induction program is designed to boost your small business retail qualifications. We mix it up during the ten weeks – we’ll use classroom, hands-on sessions and in-store time to equip you with the knowledge you need. Never worked in the retail food industry before? That’s okay. We’ll teach you what you need to know, then stick around to help for years to come.
